Heritage Ireland 2030 is a wonderful opportunity to put Swift conservation on the national agenda. Swifts are unique in that they fall in the categories of urban and natural biodiversity because over 90% of their nest sites are located in our buildings.
Swift Conservation Ireland has submitted a letter which can be found on our ‘Events’ page.
We would encourage all friends of the amazing swift to send in a letter (you are welcome to use our letter as your inspiration – if you’d like a copy in word just drop us an email).
Submission by email to heritageireland2030@chg.gov.ie or by post to Heritage Ireland 2030, Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Custom House, Dublin 1 D01 W6XO
Closing date for submissions is 28 February 2019.
