On Wednesday 18th August from 8.30pm to 9.30pm is an on-site event at Castlebar Leisure Centre in Co. Mayo. You will hear about this project which has 24 built-in nest boxes and get to experience the resident swifts going into their nest sites for the night. On Sunday 22nd August at 5pm is an on-line talk on Swift Conservation at Schools in Mayo. This talk features the Heritage Council funded project with Woodstone Swift Nest Box Deep boxes have been obtained for installation in new buildings at schools in Co. Mayo.
